Chicago commissioned a mural for the Wabash Avenue Corridor as part of a city beautification project. RETNA produced a wall running the length of a city block, black and white script spanning the entire facade. A city commission is not only for passersby — it is for the people who live there, who see it every day on their way to work. The work has to hold up to daily life.
